Using Butch Morris' Conduction lexicon, Shore leads his large ensemble through two rapturous sets of unpredictable improvisation. From the soft and floating opening with its liquid flute/clarinet duet to the structured motoric repetitions and dub-style bass, the rhythmic and melodic refrains that propel the music forward develop, break down, and explode into full-ensemble free improvs.

The second set levels up the intensity with layered horn sustains and electronic textures that eventually fall aside for a wildly fun electric guitar solo. Pedestrian carefully walks the line between chaos and control, leading listeners into the excitement of the moment of creation.
